We would be proud to help in our small way. One thing we can do is send a collection of books to help stock the new library (if you are willing to accept used books, which is what we have). Please let us know what kinds of books in particular you are looking for, where to send them, and when (we don't want to burden you with piles of books before the building is ready for them). I can't think of a more positive thing for a group of parents to do for their children. More people need to know about what all of you are accomplishing. I will see what I can do to spread the word. We admire what you are doing. Good on ya! We would be proud to help in our small way. It's a resource for the community that supports the educational goals for the children of the community. And, since it's so close, less than 50 feet from Whittier Dual Lanuage School, and in their playground area, it is SAFE TO GO TO, for the children from the school or children in the neighborhood. SAFETY of our children, getting to school, going to after school facilities, IS A BIG CONCERN. Literacy is a big concern, so this fieldhouse can serve the children and families of the community as no other venue can.
